The District Academic Team competition was on Saturday, February 11th at Kentucky Christian Academy. The TCIS Academic Team was named District Champions!

On Wednesday, February 8th, Mr. Cook was in Frankfort with Board Chair, Tony Davis, to be recognized as a District of Distinction.

Infinite Campus Portal Issue

There have been several reports of users not being able to access the portal since Infinite Campus migrated school districts to the cloud.  The recommended solution is to uninstall and reinstall the mobile app.

If you are still unable to access the Infinite Campus portal, the IC Portal Help Page may be helpful.

Infinite Campus will be migrating the Taylor County Infinite Campus site to a new location during the break.  Taylor County's Infinite Campus site will be unavailable from December 23rd (3 PM) - January 2nd.

Notice-Sale of Surplus Buses

The Taylor County Board of Education is accepting sealed bids on 5 surplus buses.  Bids must be submitted to Taylor County Bus Garage at 220 Wood Avenue, Campbellsville, KY 42718 no later than 10:00 am Friday, December 2, 2016. The surplus buses available are:  1993 International, 1994 International, 1995 International, 1999 International (wrecked), 2003 Freightliner (wrecked).

Important Information and Dates for the Upcoming School Year

Taylor County School District is looking for Substitute Teachers!


Taylor County School District is looking for Substitute Teachers.  This is a great opportunity for those that are in college or need a part time job. A background check will also be required. 

Applicants with a valid Kentucky teaching certificate or applicants with a 4-year college degree (any major) and a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA (or 3.0 on the last 60 hours) will be paid as a Rank IV employee with an emergency certificate.  Applicants that have at least a junior standing (64 hours) and who are currently enrolled in the teacher education program with a minimum 2.5 GPA will also be paid as a Rank IV. Proof of enrollment will be required.

All applicants must submit a copy of your Kentucky teaching certificate, an official college transcript, and three (3) letters of reference. Taylor County Schools requires a physical and a state and federal criminal records check on all substitute teachers. Physicals will be accepted if they have been done within the last 90 days. Crime checks will be accepted from other districts if they have been done within 6 months.
