On Monday, February 20th, Taylor County High School hosted their 5th annual Art Camp. Twenty TCHS students volunteered on their day off to lead the camp. The camp had an amazing turnout with 70 elementary students in attendance.
This one-day art and sciences camp offers leadership opportunities for the high school students, while also serving as a fundraiser for the high school art department.
This year, the studio workshops included Bead Bowls, Paper Marbling, Volcano Painting, Tie-Dying, Brain Waves, Blubber, and Noodle Doodle Engineering. A special thank you to TCHS Art Teacher, Christina Hicks, for collaborating and planning the event.
