The Taylor County Board of Education is proposing a general fund tax levy of 55.4 cents on real property and 57.8 cents on personal property.

The new Taylor County Aquatic Center hosted its official ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, August 7, 2026, bringing together community partners, student-athletes, elected officials, and local residents to celebrate this milestone for the community.
