Dr. Shively with Taylor Regional Hospital provided the Medical Explorers of Taylor County High School and Campbellsville High School with an opportunity to tour the University of Louisville Medical, Nursing, Research and Public Health Centers on Tuesday, February 18th.

Each year, DECA awards various school-based enterprises around the country with certifications. Cardinal Kroger was one of 560 school-based enterprises across the U.S. that applied for Gold-Level Certification, which is the highest level attainable.

TCHS Mock Trial Team Competes at Regionals TCHS Mock Trial Team

The Taylor County High School Mock Trial Team has been working diligently on their case since October and competed in the Louisville Regional Mock Trial Competition on February 1 and 2, 2020. Along with other high school students from around the state, they demonstrated their critical thinking, public speaking, and argument skills.

Coach Gumm will be recognized as Taylor County’s 5th Region Athletic Director’s Association Hall of Fame Inductee for 2020 on Saturday, February 15th during the Taylor County vs. Marion Co. game at Citizens Bank Arena.

On Saturday, January 25, 2020, the Taylor County High School Academic Team competed in the District Governor’s Cup. The team was awarded 2020 District Governor’s Cup Overall Champions!

The Taylor County High School Beta Club competed at the State Convention in Louisville January 18 - January 20, 2020. The club had the following winners who placed in the Top Five, which means they will advance to Nationals!
