Taylor County School District is excited to announce their continued partnership with Cardinals Kids and Taylor Regional Hospital as the healthcare provider for students and staff!

Taylor Regional Hospital's “Cardinal Kids” is located at all four locations within the district: Taylor County Primary Center, Taylor County Intermediate School, Taylor County Middle School, and Taylor County High School.

Morgan Altman, APRN, FNP-BC is the Nurse Practitioner for the district. Janet Barnes is nurse at Taylor County Middle School and Stephanie Chewning is the nurse at Taylor County High School. Magan Shofner, RN, and Michelle Sprowles, CMA, are at the primary center and intermediate school.

We are so thankful for this community partnership and the exceptional care that Taylor Regional Hospital offers our students and staff!

Getting a flu vaccine this fall can reduce your risk of getting the flu and help save scarce medical resources needed to care for people with COVID-19. It is important for everyone to do their part to stay healthy this flu season.

Cardinal Kids nurses will be offering flu vaccines to all students regardless of their insurance status. Please complete the front and back of the paperwork being sent home and return to the school. Virtual students may go to the appropriate nurse station with a parent or guardian to receive their flu vaccine. The flu vaccine will be given within 1-3 days of the paperwork returning and verification will be sent home and to the student's Primary Care Doctor.

Please call 270-849-3656 for more information.
