The career technical education programs at Taylor County High school provide our students with relevant, hands-on experiences that will help students investigate their interests and will lead to success in high school, college, and their chosen career field. We offer 14 career majors for students that can lead to students earning career readiness certificates. Taylor County High School is also home to one of the best aviation programs in the state.
TCHS is proud to feature 6 school-based enterprises:
Cardinal Financial Services (Business)
Fancy That (Family Consumer Science)
T Signs (Art Department)
Cardinal Kroger (Marketing)
Cardinal Corral (Culinary)
Taylor County FFA Greenhouse (Agriculture)
All freshmen are first introduced to the career tech programs through our Pathways to Careers classes. Students rotate through 4-week classes taught by our career-tech teachers and explore the careers and skills related to that career path. We encourage all students to find the career path that best fits their interests and career goals to enhance their educational experience at Taylor County High School.
