Welcome to Taylor County School District Preschool! We are glad you are interested in our program and we are excited about the early learning opportunities that await your child. Please check with Taylor County Primary Center to determine if your child qualifies for services.
INFORMATION FOR THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR
Those enrolled in preschool at Taylor County Schools must pay the $100 per week tuition unless the student qualifies. Students can qualify based on disability, income, or First Steps. You MUST live in the county to qualify.
Students enrolled in preschool attend four days a week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Student drop-off begins at 7:30 AM and bus transportation is available for those who live in the county.
Age Requirement (2025-2026 school year): The student must be four (4) years old by August 1, 2025. Contact TCPC to see if your three (3) year old can qualify.
Important Dates:
Preschool Open House (2025-2026): August 26, 2025, from 5:00 - 6:00 PM
First Day of Preschool (2025-2026): September 2, 2025
Last Day of Preschool (2025-2026): May 7, 2026
HOUSEHOLD VERIFICATION FORM
Children who are four years old before August 1, 2025, may qualify for preschool based on family size and income. An application is available to be filled out through this link, or you can visit Taylor County Primary Center to pick up an application.
