The Nest
Taylor County Schools is proud to offer childcare for our teachers and staff members. The Nest, which began in August 2024, is located at Taylor County Middle School and is be staffed with licensed and trained employees. There is an infant room, a one-year-old room, and a two/three-year-old.
If you would like to enroll your child or grandchild, please complete the enrollment packet and return it, along with updated immunization records, to The Nest (ATTN: Melody Coppage) or Taylor County Primary Center (ATTN: Melissa Long).

Mrs. Melody Coppage is the director of The Nest. She has 15 years of experience, previously working at A Wise Choice Preschool and Daycare.
She says, "I am looking forward to meeting new little faces and helping shape little minds for the future!"
Mrs. Coppage is married to her best friend, Tyler Coppage, and together they have a blended and blessed family of 11 children!
Mrs. Breanna Clark is the assistant director at The Nest! She has six years of experience and was previously a family advocate at Taylor County Primary Center. She received her Bachelor's in Human Services and Counseling from Lindsey Wilson College.
She says, "I'm excited to be a part of our littlest Cards' growth and development and to watch all of their individual personalities form.
Ms. Chloe is currently with our older infants. She graduated from Campbellsville University and has two years of experience.
She says she is looking forward to positively impacting children's lives.
Ms. Christa and Ms. Reagan are with our younger infants, and Ms. Ashley is with our 2/3 year olds.
