𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑! Congratulations to Taylor County Student-Athletes Cole McLean and Niaya Delos-Santos on being recognized by the KHSAA as Student-Athletes of the Year in their respective sports!
KHSAA, in partnership with Midway University, recognizes one player in the state in each sanctioned sport as the Student-Athlete of the Year. It is based on outstanding athletic accomplishments, leadership, community involvement, and academic excellence. In addition to the selections in each sport, one male and one female are chosen as the Overall Student-Athletes of the Year.
⚾ Cole McLean was chosen as the Baseball Student-Athlete of the Year.
🤼♀️ Niaya Delos-Santos was chosen as the Girls Wrestling Student-Athlete of the Year. At the awards banquet, she was also honored as the Overall Female Student-Athlete of the Year.
Congratulations to these two outstanding and well-deserving student-athletes!
