Taylor County Gives $10,000 Grant
Taylor County School District was proud to present the Campbellsville Rotary Club with a $10,000 check on behalf of the Kentucky Comprehensive Literacy Grant our district received last summer.
This grant supports our mission to strengthen literacy for children from birth through 12th grade, providing valuable resources for teachers, students, and families while giving back to our community.
Through this partnership, and with the Campbellsville Rotary Club serving as the fiscal agent for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, our contribution will ensure 322 children receive free books each month for an entire year! Currently, the Imagination Library serves approximately 950 children each month in Taylor County, helping foster a love of reading from birth to age five.
Brandy McCubbin serves as the local DPIL coordinator, and we are grateful for the support of our local hospital and community agencies that help enroll newborns and families.
Children can receive a free book every month from birth until their 5th birthday! 📚
If you have a child who is eligible, we encourage you to sign up today:

We are thankful for strong community partnerships that connect our schools and homes and create meaningful opportunities to support literacy for every child.
Expect greatness from Taylor County Schools!
