Taylor County School District celebrated opening day for teachers and staff on Tuesday, August 15, before welcoming back students tomorrow!
Casey Young, TCHS teacher and Taylor County Education Association president, opened with prayer and presented mini grants to KEA members. Suzanne Grubesic, grant writer, also presented grants to teachers thanks to the Caring for Kids Foundation.
Principals and district representatives introduced new teachers and staff by building and were welcomed with a round of applause.
Mr. Higdon wrapped up the meeting with encouraging words and prayer for all staff members!
